The Spring Fields

Where architecture dissolves into landscape

Year2023 Area5,800 sq ft ClientPrivate Villa ScopeArchitecture + Landscape Design

The Spring Fields project begins not with a building but with a field — a generous plot of land whose natural character became the primary brief. The architecture was designed to arrive quietly, with its classical colonnade and gabled roofline emerging organically from the site.

Mature trees were retained throughout the design process, their canopies framing views of the villa and casting dappled light across the facade at golden hour.

At night, warm light spilling from the tall windows transforms the exterior, making the building appear to glow from within — a lantern set gently in its garden.
